bringing a pup on

a friend off mine keeps saluki crosses. he bread this little saluki whippet grayhound cross not to long ago shes round about the 18 month mark now.realy good looking bitch and hes starting to have problems with her.he says shes not listening and hasnt been running well for months. he started lamping this dog on rabbits at about 5 month old and is adament its the best way to bring a pup on he wount listen to peoples opinion so now we just let him get on he doesnt have a clue in my eyes.hes kept dogs all his life aswel.i dont start showing mine quarry until at least 10 month when they mature enough and the training has been succsesfull.thats my opinion on staring a young dog (later the beter).any one else got the opinion off my friend

There is a kid lives near me with a young dog around 6/7 months old who sounds like your mate. Its gonna be around 25 inches when fully grown so is still very unsteady on its feet, has no recall at all and he keeps asking me to take him onto my permission. Now, bearing in mind its lack of recall and never been stock broken, I will leave it to you to guess what my answer is.
