witton 6
My pup has had a dew claw grow back. The vet wants £45 per claw for an op to get it removed. Im deffinatly going to get it removed but what iv noticed is that on the other leg the bone for the dew claw is under the skin will this grow back aswell? The vet said it could but my dad seems to think this could just be a ploy to get me to pay £90 to get the claw and the bone on the other leg removed. What should i do? Get just the dew claw removed or cough up 90 to get the bone on the other leg removed aswell? I cant see it growing back and the vet didn't mention that it could untill i asked. witton 6
Mine is only 11 weeks old so lead walking isnt a problem at all. I want to get it done now to save hastle in the future. It sticks out abit aswell so deffinatly needs removing. Its just i dont no if i should pay another 45 to geth the bone from the dew claw on the other leg removed aswell. The vet said it was fine untill i asked if it could possibly grow back and she then said it will probably grow back so getting it removed would be best. I cant see it growing back so ill probably just get teh dew claw removed and leave the bone. David Quote Link to post
