Rabbithunter 456
Right as some of you may be aware, i have been made redundant. i checked the bank this morning, no redundancy or owed holiday pay. i was raging, phoned the exboss, and he explained the redundancy is coming through as a cheque. fair do's BUT he say's i am not entitled to the holiday pay (2 weeks @ christmas) why's this? anybody know? Guest Eamon.Mc
I don't know how long you were with your previous employer but in some places you'll get either 1 day 1 week or if you're lucky 1 monhts wages for each year of service. Depending on how many holidays you've already used this year if you have'nt used your quotta until now you will be entitled to them, you usually get so many hours holidays for ex amount of days worked. Hope this helps though all employers could be different.
