bobcullen79 1,495
Hi Lads... Might sound like a no brainer,so I done a search with no joy, before asking. Wheres the best place to put the studs for a sling? Its a HW95k,and the will be going on the LH side. Just want to get it right before I start drilling £450`s worth of rifle. Thanks in advance,Bob. bobcullen79 1,495
Ta Garfield. I already got my sling and studs, just need some swivels, order them later. Dont like the barrel fitting,I`ll be going in wood to wood. Where about on the butt does it go? Bob. Quote Link to post
garfield 23
just screw it in about 1/2" from the end Quote Link to post
andyz 30
Check out some other riffles that have them fitted from the manufactures. On think to take into account is a bipod will fit to the front stud. Also I would suggest using marking tape on the wood word to stop the drill slipping, remove the mechanism from the stock and when you drill the holes start with a fine drill and work you way up to the size you require. I think I used 4 different drill pieces to just ensure the holes we nice and straight. Good luck, take your time and you wont have any problems. ATB, Andy Quote Link to post
bobcullen79 1,495
Thanks Andy. No go on the bipod tho,its a springer.. Tried to have a look on google images, but all the pics seem to have the anchor points on the other side of the rifles(were I cant see) or underneath the stock:wallbash: Maybe I should have a look in the gallery on here...
