andyrose 8
out with the lurcher tonight for a walk and the pillocks flew over the edge of a banking and came a cropper at the bottom. he's cut his rear pad on one front leg and cut and grazed the front of his ankle joint on the other. The cuts are'nt massive but enough to need bathing, i've always bathed any cuts etc in warm salt water, which i've done tonight. but can anyone recomend anything else? MuttleMcTuttle 21
As said, salt water is good & always available Hibiscrub can be bought almost anywhere and is useful if a wound looks like it might be getting a slight infection. Give a good wash with it and leave on for a few minutes before rinsing off.

MissRhianL 70
I agree with everyone on this comment: Salt water in warm water, longs if you bath the area a few times daily, the cut shouldnt get infected. The dog will lick it clean itself anyway. Cant go wrong with salt in some water. If you manage to go to a game fair or something, pick up some antibacteria spray and spray the area and leave it. Should be fine.
