went out early morning south westerly ,useing home made lures , we were jiging for makrel and cod and on the slack tide baiting for ling , started drifting ,bang big makrel everywere withing a few hours three 5 stone boxes , good for smoking ,eating fresh,lobster bait and dogs , then we caught several cod , and one ling ,a great day ,some site it was we ran out of boxes we salted a few boxes got rid of rest to local places , great day had by all same nite a wee dip in the river to get some sea trout ,then on way home a few rabbits with mate with rifle clean kills luvly jubbly a day in the lifs as they say ,the morning are changing and so are the nites for the great game again is upon us shortly ,all the best
