Guest Ditch_Shitter
Ok, Moll: You told me I should photographicaly record her progress. Well, as I said originally; Getting decent shots of a 'puppy' is an arduous task. However, I try ..... So here's how she's looking about now. I've wormed her (Major weight loss!) and she's survived her first and only two jabs. I grabbed this shot, 22/11/06. It shows how lean and leggy she's becoming now - just how I like my terriers! Get some more ~ later ~ muscle tone / bulk on her and I'll consider her ideal ..... Just as I did when I spotted her in that bucket, at '8 weeks old' at the end of August " Hannah " Also answers to " Small Dog " ! Killed her first rat a few weeks ago! Guest Ditch_Shitter
Nor would I, Sox. (He said, sitting here in his Army, Field Green, long sleeved vest! ~ Cheers, mate! ) It was her own rat, D'Man. I personally don't believe in tormenting live caught creatures - period. I shoot live catches and encourage my Dogs only onto stuff they encounter. Not a swipe, mate. Just a personal ethic No, I just got up one morning and found this well mullered rat laying in the yard. Obvious what had happened there. She's half feral, this one. I let them all out for a piss and she's just as likely to disappear for as long as takes her fancy. I don't mind as I know she doesn't 'go anywhere'. Usually just down to the stock sheds, to commune with her mate, the donkey. Or mess about with the goats. Find her by the door again, eventually. I'm also very happy and delighted to be seeing her responses to things I can see and she must smell too. Walking up the track here I may spot a hare or badger run. She's all over it. Nose down, trying to figure out what enticing thing it was. 'Mind you; I've absolutely no desire for her to go after either of those things. But it's good to see her taking a keen interest in scents anyway. Yeppers. All in all, I like to think she's enjoying a pretty well idyllic upbringing here. Living just as a terrier should do. She's not destined to be a Fox Buster or anything like that. Just an aid to my own aging faculties. 'A useful little Dog to have around' is what I hoped for. Reckon I'm about getting it too!
