you get it from defra mate but to be honest its more trouble than its worth,i was gonna apply but they wanna know to much so i fecked it off,i just go an catch em,as long as theres no native crayfish were your catching and you dont throw any back or release any youl be reet,just get em home and purge em for 2 days then enjoy :thumbs: ive never had any bother off anyone even the environment officers just want you to kill the feckers and fisherman even more so,and if youve got kids then take them,he'd have to be a real c**t to do you with the kids there doing it wi ya :thumbs:

If you contact the environment agency they'll send you a tidy little pack all about crayfish trapping.

 

In includes:

  • Everything you need to apply for a licence ( :blink: )
  • A handy splashproof guide on identiying the different types of freshwater crayfish
  • Tips on how and where to set your traps.

Crayfish trapping advice packs are available from the National Fisheries Laboratory 01480 483968.
