Stabs 3
First off, apologies if any of you are now singing Barbara Streisand songs, i know a few of you like show tunes Anyway, I was on the phone to a mate tonight while I was walking some of my ground and the dogs put up what looked to be a whopper of a fox. The collie cross and the black bitch chased but missed. This got me to thinking about the first single handed fox that my Airedale/Bitsa cross took last year. She was only a year and a couple of days old and she'd had suspect prey drive, but she picked this fella up on a steep valley side and that was that. If I remember rightly, she held him by the nogging first off and then old charlie got right stuck in on her and then it was if someone switched a light on.....she went berserk and old charlie's lights went out quick time. One of those priceless moments that will be with me to my dying day. Good hunting all Quote Link to post

Stabs 3
That's true Kane. I guess you've just got to judge every dog individually and enter them as you see fit. Quote Link to post
