mountain hares...

just wondering if anyone has caught one of these majestic creatures with a lurcher ...in there winter coat or in the change when they are blue.. i would exspect it would have to be a very versertile dog to nail one of these in that rough terrain... some of your tales of your catches would be good to hear..and pics if you have got any...i think this one is proberly for the scot lads .. :D

WERE YOU NOT THE LAD THAT CLAIMED HIS DOGS CAUGHT THEM FOR FUN??? YOUR DOG IS ONLY 11 MONTHS OLD IF I RECALL CORRECTLY.
do you no what pissers me off people who dont read threads correctly for a start my dogs never seen a blue hare thy are brown near me ..and i also said it catchers them for fun on the lamp i also said that day time hares are a different animal even tho hes had a few in the day and i said 10 1/2 months old whats your problem..would you like to see for yourself??????

some dog youve got there cathing hares for fun on the lamp , some places i go they are harder at night as they get out the beam and no were they are going ,lamp wise etc were day time the dog can see them and keep on top of them etc
iam not bigging the dog up whin but he does very well on them on the lamp the fields arent to big

round me and on the lamp they struggle to get out. and like you said pal your right he is some dog a bit of good breeding behind him helps.. i dont need to bullshit i live in north lanc,s if you would like to and have shine..pm me if your intrested...
