Bantam cock 1 Posted October 30, 2004 Report Share Posted October 30, 2004 I have got a nice little hedge trimmer motor, I've made a new manifold for it with a pipe onthat extends about 10" . Now I've been told that too produce alot more smoke, without knackering the motor by adding extra 2stroke oil to the petrol. That if I add a small diameter tube to the top of the pipe,that I can inject old engine oil directly into the hot exsaust it will produce VAST AMOUNTS OF SMOKE !! Guest merle Posted October 30, 2004 Report Share Posted October 30, 2004 be carfull not to put two much two stroke oil in the fuel mix as this can damage the motor just like not enough but if you make a manifold to go over the exhaust you can pour oil over the out side of the exhaust when it is very hot diesel also smokes very well and it is very unlikely to get hot enough to catch fire merle Quote Link to post Share on other sites
