benbenukuk 0 Posted June 30, 2010 Report Share Posted June 30, 2010 Hello, Whats the best way to get my 14 week old pup to bring his toys (then later live quarry) back to me, He will carry them half way then drop it coming back to hand with out it, He's whippet/greyhound/deerhound if thats any use? cheers. gary.l 61 Posted June 30, 2010 Report Share Posted June 30, 2010 (edited) well ben, i've trained a couple of gundogs, a lot of dogs tend to instinctavly bring toys dummies etc back to their bed or kennel if you stand in front of his bed and play fetch he'll prob bring it back to your hand, using a hallway so they can't run off left or right helps to. at this stage its all fun and games if he gets sick of it leave it till he's interested.
