shotgunny 39
With no crops near me ready to be shot over yet I decided to sit on a bank around a mile from a forest permission of mine that is home to hundreds of pigeons. At around 8 there was steady number of birds flying over so I loaded up my gun with no.7 eley pigeon cartridges and started to shoot . By half 8 I had six pigeons in the bag and there was still a steady stream of birds coming over. It went quiet at around 9 so I started walking along the embankment and as I walked I flushed 4 pigeons out of an oak tree. I managed to get 2, one of which flew quite high up. By quarter past 9 I decided to head home with 12 pigeons for the pot. I was very happy with my shooting and I will definatly be back out this evening. Atb sg Quote Link to post
