vascomised hob

hi

i know the concequences of mating ferrets from the same blood and that it should never be done but was wondering if the hob from a litter was vascomised could he be used to bring his siblings out of season or should he still be from a different line

 

this is just a question so please dont rip it to bits :11:

It will be fine because the mating session won't or should I say shouldn't result in little one's!.

I say shouldn't because the vasectomy isn't always a success.

But as long as he is definately firing blanks!:icon_redface: it will be ok, as the end result won't be little ferrets with genetic problems.

 

Mating siblings doesn't always result in problems, however it's always best to keep a healthy blood line by mating unrelated healthy ferrets.

Interbreeding isn't good with any animal :whistling:

Make sure the vasectomy has worked before putting him in with the jills!!
