Quite Rare.........But OTC on here will tell you more about it........I have wondered myself when Fenn switched from the type you described.........to the more popular half-barrel shape. Rolfe. OldTrapCollector 377
Fenn never made a Duffus type Rolfe, aside from the flat double loop type shown by Axholme Ferreter there, that I am still looking for myself. Springer made a Duffus type though - although this is only hearsay - I have not actually seen one You will read all about the Fenn mole trap development in my new books - when I get off my arse and get them to print!! Steve Albano 21
So then the trap in the first picture posted on this thread was made by Fenn? Is that right? Interesting that Fenn made a few different mole traps which are no longer on the market. Were they not very effective, or expensive to manufacture? Thanks for posting the picture, guys! OldTrapCollector 377
Yes the flat double catch trap was made by Fenn as well as the smaller single catch version. They did sell well but were outsold by the Fenn scissor mole traps which are still made today. OTC Quote Link to post
