Airborne9 4
I'm after getting some footage of my trips out, and was wondering if there is a scope cam out there that anyone knows of ? If so who makes them ? Or if they have their own set up maybe brackets or some thing to adapt a digital cam corder !! I'm not overly keen on b*****d'ising my scope but any ideas would be sound. matt_hooks 188
Depends what you want. If you want a shooters eye view, i.e. through the scope, then I've seen a few methods. If you look on youtube there's a few different methods shown. A mate uses a neoprene rubber tube to couple the scope to the lense of his camcorder, they just happen to be the same diameter. He uses a modified mini tripod attached to specially drilled holes in the stock to mount the camera, and then uses the camera screen for sighting. I wouldn't fancy lugging it long distances, on the grounds that it's not light and the camera is fairly prone to damage. The mounting camera on top of scope is an option, but you need to make sure it's properly lined up, and you'll lose something in the zoom. Quote Link to post
