Typical, lovely day yesterday, but was busy and could not get out till today, for a spot of ferreting and it was heavy showers, on and off.

Arrived nice and early, at day break, with my 2 jills. the lighter polecat, i have, seems to be slow to start this season and has never really prooved her self to me  she keeps going in and coming out

I then enter my darker polecat jill, who is coming on great so far and she allways finds rabbits and bolts them, wears the other one does not. Im seriuosly, thinking of giving her to the warren in the sky, so to speak. :hmm: Ill give her to the end of the season and if she does not buck her ideas up, she is gone. ;)

Anyhow, my darker poley, worked great, went deep and did not leave house, till all the bury was cleaned. :clapper:

Rain started falling heavy, so called it a day and went home with 3 fat bunnys. :D

Pic below., notice, how i only took a pic of my darker polecat jill, the lighter one stayed in the box, on the verge of being fired. She is tame as a kitten though and good company for my dark jill, so will give her to spring and then see what ill do.

Good going mate  pity about the rain though.

I hope your other jill comes on eventually mate, sometimes the dopiest of ferrets can all of a sudden switch on. Well done for giving her a good chance though ;) And if she doesnt work out you can get rid with a clear conscience because you will know for sure she wouldnt earn her keep.
