Ferrets Pooing everywhere.

I've just built the ferrets a nice bigger hutch and run (about 2.5mx1.5x1.5m) which is much larger than there previous run. Anyhow they've now got the habbit of doing poo's everywhere, and not in a nice little pile in the corner as they used. Needless to say it's only been two days and they've madea right state of things.

 

What should I do to get them poo in the corner again?

Scrape it all up and put it in the corner, clean the rest thoroughly .

try somekind of cat litter its only cheap and worth a try . let us know how it goes.

They are only doing what comes naturally, marking the new territory all over, once they are settled they will go back to the corners.. in the mean time as said by others, scoop a bit up and put it where you want them to go

I screwed a plastic tub to a piece of wood that is wedged into the corner with a brick, after a couple of days of putting the scats into the tub, they started to use it like a litter tray, makes cleaning out much easier. Had to wedge it in, otherwise one of the buggers kept turning it upside down
