Dosser 52 Posted May 11, 2010 Author Report Share Posted May 11, 2010 Well no one came up with anything so made up my own, the ones i found on google were, i think, written by people who never seen a rook let alone eat one (boil for two hours !! ridiculous advice) Breast of 14 fledgling rooks (and 3 woodies) fried gently put into pie dish lined with shortcrust pastry Add gravy made from pan residue and half tble spoon wholegrain mustard chuck in some mushrooms, chalottes, boiled potato slices, chopped boiled eggs (3) cover with pastry, bake till golden brown.
