adamthomas64 1
hi as stated im about to zero a new scope to my .17hmr and im after some advice, i first zeroed it in on a 100yrd range, so no problems, but im going to be zeoing my new scope on one of my permissions and am after some advice, for example, if i zero at 50 yards will that be the same zero for 100yrds ect, also what do you guys use as a backstop when zeroing? any help would be much appreciated best regards adam Quote Link to post
cassshantia 16
this topic has been covered well in older posts mate also some nice chaps on here have given links to the zeroing of different ammo i asked the same question when i bought mine at xmas(marlin.17hmr),some told me to zero at 35yrds and this in turn rezeros @125 yrds so i did and ive had lots of game from this range as for a back stop i work in heavy industry so got some 1/4"plate same size as a4 paper so when you download targets off targetz.com they fit to your sheet of metal, also i drilled the four corners and put some thread bar thru it and can push this into a cam side or round bail if you have them available on you permission Quote Link to post

Give me a shout when you come down and i can either direct you to them over the phone or i can come over and give you a hand (if i'm not working) Quote Link to post
