bring them as puppys you can fit more in your suitcase!!!! seriously tho my mate has just had a dog brought in from germany and he says that all the paperwork and other stuff involved is not worth it plenty of good dogs bred over here. what breed you bringing over????

am not wanting to import nowt mate, but me pal has come into a good sum of money lately and he loves hare courseing and his 2 hare dogs are both getting on.they are both saluki x,s and he is wanting to import 2 pure males for his own use, you mentioned a lot of paper work involved his sister will do it for him no props, i said it would be best to look around britian but no its not for him ,import is what he wants, they will get worked well and before anyone starts with negitive remarks keep them to youre self thanks am doing a favour for a mte end of atb

Pm Riohog or Merrihunter on here, they both know a thing or two about importing saluki, they will be best placed to advise your pal, best of luck to him with it. There are many fine pure saluki that are uk bred, by the right sort of people, and many more that shouldn't be bred from and are only done so to line pockets of greedy people who have little regard for the outcomes or the breed, but i understand lads wanting summat different for sure, maybe worth pointing your mate towrds having a look at Merrihunters forum Saluki Preservation saluki owners from all over the world go on their HTH atvb Richard
