Never shot anything with it but have tested in on an indoor range. Much past 15 yards the pattern is huge. Very handy for rats at very close range or in buildings. J. Quote Link to post

kill um with crisps 7
I used to have one. Part exed it for my hushpower .410! I shot a rat with it once at about 10 yards or so and the bloody thing rolled over, bounced, jumped up and legged it! Luckily one of the pellets had smashed its back right leg so it was to slow and coudnt jump so i managed to catch it and bang it with a lump of 4x2! Apart from that i think the cost of the shells takes the piss! Quote Link to post
matt_hooks 188
Think these are more normally known as garden guns. They're ok for short range vermin shooting, especially where damage to the fabric of a building needs to be minimised. I'd probably go for an air rifle for the job, just because it's cheaper per shot, but as you say, for it's limited sphere it's a useful little tool! Quote Link to post
