SHOTGUNSNIPER 47
hi all, i am looking for a .270 calibre rifle for shooting red deer and am looking for any likes and disslikes for makers? any advice and pointers would be good. thanks and regards. I like the pre 1964 Winchester bolt action. .... They are a tad pricey but there is an alternative - The Winchester Classic virtually the same action only modern CNC manufactured and much less$$...... They can be had in a variety of good deer calibers. I have one in 7mm STW and it shoots 1.5 inch group at 300yards all day. 120gr Vmax at 3750fps.... It shoots so good I only use it for hunting for fear of wearing the barrel and ruining a good thing..... .SGS Quote Link to post
