Theoben HE Gas-Ram Charging Hose?

Hi guys been away for a while!!

 

Anyway got myself a HW90 and I am going to sprip it down and replace all the seals found a good guide ( http://www.airgunforum.co.uk/HW90strip.html ).

I have ordered a load of spares from chambers and look forward to the project got some Ideas for a new paint job aswell but my question is... I have bid on the charging hose required to fill the ram once I have serviced it but It dont look like it will fit my fx pump without some form of adapter. Does anyone know what adapter I will need?

 

P.S I have no intention of making this gun overpowered I have a chrono and I am not looking for advice on how to up the power only how to charge it.

i think you can get the adapter from the hw website matey not to sure and i know people that have used the stirup pumps to fill the ram after but i saw a slimjim pump on ebay last night matey try there to buddy

I have checked ebay I couldnt find anything. I think I will wait till it arrives then see what the thread is and get an adaptor. I think the fx pump is 1/8 bsp and I have seen 1/8 bsp male to male conectors on ebay so I will have to wait by the looks of things.

 

Was hoping that someone had done this before and knew what to get.

Just popped into my local gunshop and we deduced that the adapter I will need is 1/8 bsp male to male! unfortunately she didnt have one in stock but ebay here I come!!

Yea mate got the adapter off ebay!! So when arrives I will test it then I can begin the stripdown!! Wooo!!

is the gun running under power or heavy recoil ? for you to want to strip the gas ram ? the reason i ask matey i thought the one that hw use can not be stripped ? dont quote me on it i heard it somewhere so just be careful with that one and i think its only the theoben ones that can be stripped down but glad you got the adapter matey

The gun is was actually over power and I tapped the pin to reduce the power to well under the legal limit. You can strip the gas ram if you look at my origonal post there is a link to a guide. The only reason for servicing the gun was I have no idea of the guns history or how old it is. So I want a fresh start with it and a service can only help accuracy and my confidence in the gun.

and yes very true i just looked on it and can see you can buddy i just wasnt sure if you could or not and didnt want to say yes and it go pete tong on you matey let us know how you get on matey and wish you all the best in doing the gun take pictures to on how you do it as it will help others in doing the same with there hw90's

Just serviced the gun I am sorry for no guide I was too exited and wanted to get the job done!! The guide I have posted at the top of the page is more than good enough to do the job!!

I am just sanding down the stock for the new paint job and when I have done that I will post the finished product!!
