old real tree 92 Posted April 13, 2010 Report Share Posted April 13, 2010 hi guys and gels, looking for advice in my lurchers toe, it seems to be swolen, its not giving her any pain till she runs and turns fast on it.she done it chasing a tennis ball. only tho toe is swolen..... what you guys think.... sandymere 8,263 Posted April 14, 2010 Report Share Posted April 14, 2010 Is the second joint swollen? if so could be a "knocked up toe" which, though not uncommon, will result in permenant damage to the joint. Rest ie no galloping for a couple of weeks and then restart on soft ground and see how it goes. If it swelling elsewhere it could be many things pic would help.
