mole catcher 1
hiya oscar Im a left handed shooter and i have been using a WH95k fitted with a standard right hand stock. its not a prob using this stock as it is more or less a ambi stock. Ive shot most of the older type of springers like the BSA lightning and the webleys of the same era and have found their triggers not as refined as those fitted to the german made WH range. I bought the combo 18mths ago, cost me 245.00 quid new. It is a little on the heavy side when walking miles over fields but it has been a very good rifle, acurate and it will drop all air rifle target species. good reliable work horse Quote Link to post
Guest oscar
cheers lads for your help, the hw95k sounds something i could be interested in but can anybody tell me how the hw99s matches up against it as i like the simple lines and the lack of nice furnishing on it as im looking for a knockabout vermin rifle,is the power there and the accuracy, also hows the open sights on the hw,s,i might get a scope later but i was fond of these back in the good old days,30-35 yard rabbits,no problem cheers again lads Quote Link to post
Guest craftycarper
i'm left handed, but shoot a right handed AA 410 carbine no probs, even me shotties are rights as well, as long as the stocks are fairly straight/flat no problem, saying that the AA is not flat but still no problem shooting it Quote Link to post
mole catcher 1
i'm left handed, but shoot a right handed AA 410 carbine no probs, even me shotties are rights as well, as long as the stocks are fairly straight/flat no problem, saying that the AA is not flat but still no problem shooting it i zeroed my mates AA410 in for him and that has a right hand stock. got it bang on for him but i did find the top of the cheek piece dug in a bit. its well worth looking for a LH stock as the pros out weigh the cons. for the sake of 35quid you can get some good scopes, once you get one i dont think you will go back to open sights Quote Link to post
