Hi we have a smallish syndicate and its marsh land with the soil if you could call it that being peat. i was wondering if there was any game crops that would survive these conditions i was thinking of getting some heather seeds and trying a few plants this year. any advice ? on our shoot we put down pheasants and partridge so any advice please.

I'm not sure how well it would grow in your type of soil mate but at the shoot i pick up on has some Canary Grass( think thats how you say it)...? It grows quite tall and it is easy to walk through, i would imagine it was quite cost effective as well. :thumbs:

Whats the soil like on your area mate is it grassy with the gamecover or is it marshy ?

Were the canary grass is its just grassland.
