ferreterno1 0 Posted October 25, 2006 Report Share Posted October 25, 2006 (edited) Today was the first days shooting this year on one of my local pheseant shoots i was there beating, (trying to get the keeper to let me do some ferreting) anyway we had a brillient day its only a small shoot, i witnessed some really good shots and the people were a really good crowed the people in charge put on a lunch which went down well we saw a fox but they couldnt get a shot, the keeper said has shot 96 this year so far.at the end of the day the total bag was 107 pheseants and 3 wood pigeons, really good i thought so its pheseant for dinner tomorow Ferreterno1 Edited October 25, 2006 by ferreterno1 Quote Link to post
Born Hunter 17,960 Posted October 25, 2006 Report Share Posted October 25, 2006 sounds like you had a good day im going for my first day beating this saturday and i cant wait. i love it, been once before on a different shoot with a mate but hopefully i shud be beating for the whole season with this shoot and just lookin forward to the people i'll meet, watching their dogs work and the opertunities that may arise from it.
