show season terriers

Recommended Posts

just a quick question to all dogmen alike, due to the change in law there should only be undocked puppies being shown from now on..far from being a stupid law that they have no doubt made to hinder us i feel that they have actually helped us as in effect it should mean that from now on the only dogs eligable for showing will be undocked, thus taking away the temptation of people breeding for looks and making out there workers, as there will now be no point in having a relly good looking worker as it cant be shown due to being docked anyway...and i do know that there are bound to be some good working undocked terriers out there but am just wondering peoples opinion and welcome all to voice their oppinion...

i think some shows will let you show your dog with a docked tail if you have got a docking certificate off the breeder witch you should have because apparently its illegal to sell a dog with a docked tail with no docking certificate atb jenna

its taken years to get conformation [bANNED TEXT] on trriers working or not.true an undocked tail doesent efect workability. but it makes a terrier look wrong. its just another go at the hunting scene. my terriers are legaly docked. i work my terriers and also show in the summer mounths. thay will never stop the true working terriers or the shows not while we keep this brilliant field sport alive. as ime sure we will
