hi all ive always put a sprinkle of garlic powder or flakes in to my dogs food and recently started to use salmon oil or cod liver oil.but some one as told me that garlic is not good for dogs ..but never heard this before i was told it was good for the resporatory and also the smell helps keep away flees/ticks ive never had a problem untill i heard this.

does any one out there used it or fish oils. and what is your opinions

iv always used gralic and codliver oil and iv never had any problems and the people i no that use it dont ether!!

Yep, garlic is good for keeping away parasites, fish oils I'd imagine help with joints, I feed whole garlic cloves and the odd tin of sardines in sunflower oil

Ive never really felt the need to supplement my dogs feed tbh.. they get ample flesh and bone with the odd bit of veg thrown in.... only time they get owt different is when they are puppies ... atb stabba..
