dillis first bunny

over the last week or so iv been taking the pup out with a torch

just to getting her used to looking down the beam with no lead on and not making a big deal out of it

tonight however i took the lamp out and went up the valley with both dogs

after about 20 mins or so got to see some bunnies and the older dog got slipped on a bunny off she went and didn’t come back for a few minutes as usual

so me and dilli started walking off and she was walking at my side and i lit

the path up in front of us and about 70 yards in front a bunny started to hop away from us

then i looked down and the pup had seen it and had started off after it at

a rather half hearted way

she run straight down the beam and they went over a bit of a hill and out of sight

the next second the rabbit appeared running right at me with dilli right on its arse

when they passed she turned it once then twice and on the third it made the fence but bounced of it and started running towards me at this point she knew she might loose it and bang one big feckin strike!!!!!!!!!!!

i thought she might drop it when it squealed but she was like a dog possessed, eyes bulging, tail straight up and biting it like feck

by the time i got to her she was carrying it with that look of iv just been really bad look on her face but didn’t last long after i praised her

carrying the bunny back to the car i thought it frigin heavy and when i looked down the pup was hanging off it

so it was a bit of an accident and the pup wont see any hard work till she’s a bit older but i know she’s got it

sorry for the waffle but i is well chuffed
