Guest Frank
Thats good John. Ring me when the farmers are giving out about them and their causing damage. Frank. i think the people who made mxy should invent a cure for it as well because they wouldn't like it if they were a rabbit and they had mxy so why make it! Give me 10 minuites with the DICK who invented the virus in a room with him. Frank. Quote Link to post
Guest JohnGalway
I may have this wrong but I seem to remember that an Australian invented it? Also after he'd seen it in action he knew he'd done wrong in letting the genie out of the bottle so to speak. Frank, I've never had wabbit to eat, getting curious now Quote Link to post

Frank :thumbs-up: Reckon I'll knock one off and grab a recipe off the forums, had a look last night and there are some delicious looking ones Just gotta go looking for pictorial instructions on skinning etc to get it from shot to oven lol. I'd a walk around a bit of the ground yesterday, saw a few about but not sure if there are enough yet to ferret (I'd imagine you'd need loads for that?). Quote Link to post

I wasn't there too long Frank as there was a dirty shower heading my way and I wasn't in the humour to get soaked lol. They're spread through a bit of a beach and at least one field next door to it, I'd planned to go do more investigating today but didn't get the time. If they've moved further in the beach there could be a good number of them. So anyway I saw around a dozen hopping around the place, don't know too much about bunnies but they seemed fairly quiet, I wasn't exactly hiding myself keeping to the tops of the hills and wearing a red coat I was asking my dad about them today and he said there were actually fellas around ferreting them 2 years ago Never heard a word about that! How long does a rabbit live normally? Don't tell me until you squeeze the trigger Quote Link to post

Guest Hedgehunter
Myxi seems to be on all of our regular farms, worse than I can remember for years, but a couple of new bits of permission may save the season. Quote Link to post
Guest Frank
For folks who put in their experiences this year with Mxy, CHEERS It seems im not the only one that has been effected by it (the rabbits i mean :11: ). Frank. Quote Link to post
inan 841
Ok, as their seems top be so much mxy around at present, including in one of my areas as well, big time , I thought id see what other folks experiences with the dreaded desease are. What does it do in your areas when it comes? Do they recover quickly from it or does all the bunnys nearly get wiped out? It is apparently dying out over their in the UK and bunnys are getting imune to it, wish it was the same over here. It seems to completely wipe them out over here and it can take a long time for them to recover. So, say it how it is people. Frank. OUT today we took39 clean bunnies ,a couple with red round the eyes ,and 4 or 5 with eyes glued up.Do you think the mild weather is making the Myxe last so late ,i find its usually done its damage by now.
