Another trip out this wednesday with the help of one of me son's (unofficial school holiday) if you get what i mean :)

out went a little 12 ft gate net around some earths

which then went pear shaped as the mutt hit it at full pelt, what a twat, i'm sure i saw the rabbit turn and smile as it hopped over a limp net with a dog tied up in the middle

It was the boy's first ever trip out which makes a change from him being glued to the pc screen

But he soon picked it up easy

Then it was time to move down to a little stream

Dad i can feel the ground rumbling, as he points down below.

That one caught me out, sorry about the blur. One rabbit, purse net and mutt going for a paddle :icon_eek::laugh:

Time to move again across the field this time

A few more to be had here before we go

Just the one with mixy in that batch, the mutts a bit headstrong and i just let her do her own thing now as before i was tending to worry too much about her approach, it's a shame there's not any open ground earths for her in this neck of the woods as i would like to see how she fares on open ground with the rabbit. I forgot to mention she has one dew claw which pulled out on a run through the woodland that day :( , it's the second time she has done this now due to the ground we work mainly woodland which has not seen many people through it and is still suffering in the way of many trees down from the gales we had in the late 80's, too many obstacles throughout much to the advantage of Mr rabbit...
