ANOTHER FALLOW BUCK

Was out stalking yesterday afternoon as it was a lovely still,sunny day and I thought I would try my luck

On entering the wood I headed for a rutting stand I found last week. As I approached I couldnt believe my luck when I spotted a buck lying down not 20 yards from me , on raising the rifle he turned his head and looked straight at me so I quickly fired , job done

 

Luckily the drag was only about 500 yards to the car

 

 

 

 

2 in a week , cant be bad

You try and get 20 yards of a fallow buck in a place where they are continually disturbed and very wary .This is deer management and you take your chances when they arise . Laid down or standing up what difference does it make ??? it still gets shot

nice one foxy, whack em and stack em mate save me a burger , 20yds, to 200yds mate it dont make any difference, i shot a roe buck last week at forty yds keep it up remmy...
