ferreterno1 0
we went out today for the first time this season armed with my mates lurcher, my long net, six ferrets and 100 purse nets to tackel a huge bank. Well the ferrets tried their best but the rabbits just wouldnt bolt, i dont know why but it was hard work for them, we managed 9 in the end and lost one but there were plenty more that just wouldnt bolt, this is only a guess but i think it might be because its a bit early in the season what do you lot think? the lurcher just missed one and the long net didnt catch anything, but we still enjoyed it and we will be back out soon. i took the camera but forgot all about it but i will post some pics in the future happy hunting Quote Link to post
Mitch 0
It happens sometimes, It can depend on alot of different things i have noticed, I have noticed if it is windy rabbits are not as eager to bolt. And I have noticed Big old Buck rabbits are stubborn to bolt aswell in some cases. Did you have to dig any? if they dont bolt, and you have to clear them dig em. Quote Link to post
