RiffRaff 5 Posted February 26, 2010 Report Share Posted February 26, 2010 i have just got one with a small problem. as you cock the bloody thing it goes off . it dont do it all the time, but once is bad enough an to often for me, an i just dont trust it now anyone had the same problem with one an how did you sort it out???. i was thinking trigger set wrong cheers Niel Quote Link to post
wrowmon 1 Posted February 26, 2010 Report Share Posted February 26, 2010 hello how many times has it done it .is it fully cocked or do you think it is cocked...last time i had a problem like that someone had changed the spring behind the hammer and it caused a pcp to go off when you closed the bolt...the spring held to much pressure for the trigger sear... wrowmon 1 Posted February 26, 2010 Report Share Posted February 26, 2010 has the hammer spring been changed do you know..is the trigger very light...what lbs pressure is trigger pull...fishing scales and line on the trigger gun fixed pull scales see what pressure is required to set it off..
