Edd_Wiltshire 9
Amazing video. Is it just me or arre their legs at risk when landing? I know on the first section they are landing on sand but still there must be a lot of pressure coming down. Is this a competative sport, have seen some vids of dogs like this pulling weights along with a harness before, power to weight wise they cant be beaten!

I 'spose there is alot of pressure, the dogs seem to handle the landing rather well though, almost as though they have adjusted to it.

The dogs joints are put under a lot of strain, that video isn't too bad, but i've seen a similar one with the dogs having really nasty landings. The americans have a different view on the events they use to test their dogs. That said the dogs in the vid are clearly coping with the landing, i just think that being the breed they are, they would do it from twice the height and off the end of a cliff if you asked them to! Weight pull is a great sport, and its phenomenal some of the weights pulled. :notworthy: The high wall featured in the video is also a fun event, my collie bitch loves it and can did 8.5ft on her first go!
