Does anyone reccommend a good pair of bino's with a built in range finder, to save carring a range finder and a pair of bino's

to be honest(and i know thats not what you are asking) i would not combine the two. if one breaks or needs upgrading you have to buy "both". i find a combination is mostly a compromise (micrwave and grill type thing).

i beleive bushnell do a combi,it might be an idea to put a rough price guide for the following posts bud.

They sound like a good idea and i can see the benifits but they will all give trouble in the long run i have heard of all the leica ones that are getting to 5-6 years old are all packing in and the optics quality is nowhere near as good as the straight binos. Why do u think leica and zeiss only offer only a 5 year warrenty on their combined RF/Bino models instead of the 25/30 on their binos. The problems with reliability is why swarovski havnt brought out a conbined model yet because they dont want to tarnish their reputation by bringing out an inferiour product.

 

It might be a pain carrying and using them seperately but will result in less hassle in the long run. i have had a leica rangefinder for 7 years and it has been faultless.
