wirral countryman 2,110
most dog's will catch lamped long ear's,if it can't catch them now that's the reason it was sold to you,try getting it a bit fitter or buy something more suited to the job,you don't say how old it is or its history before you,I only run daytime long ear's,that's the true test of your dog,but sadly most people on here only lamp it seem's these day's,what a waste!!! sh 08 17
sorry mate. this is what i do, i take the dogs 4 miles a day on a push bike even if im taking them lamping. They need to be as fit as a fiddle. i feed them on a barf diet and sometimes they have the odd bit of dried food. the dogs need to be in A1 condition before you think about even running them on things like that. i would get the dog fit through the summer then see how you get on next winter Quote Link to post
wirral countryman 2,110
have you tried running him with another dog?sometimes this help's,I'd spend a few week's getting him fit and find a squatter to try, only trouble is your running out of time quick, season's nearly over now, lot's of babies about were I am Quote Link to post
