Once a year I go shooting near Oxford with my Springer.My host has a Lab. I would say that his Lab is better working there than my Springer as the cover is not so dense. When my friend comes down here to West Wales to shoot woodcock he admits his Lab cannot compete with my Springer in the thick cover. I am sure someone will advise you about the type of ground best for the HPR which seem to have their place in more open country. Quote Link to post
