troutfly 0
start your net loops on the ring x6 then double to make 12 then make 14 then make 16 x15 tmes long then break down the same as you started 14 12 6 but make sure you finish on the ring with 6 tye of that will give you 21 meshes or 3foot 6 net net see if that helps Quote Link to post

saluki 1
can anyone please put up a diagram or a link to a video on how to make a shaped purse net , iam only starting to make my own nets,at the moment iam making them 15 meshes wide x 15 long with each mesh 2 1/4 inches, shaped net would help save on material.thanks this is how i do mine 8,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,15,15,15,14,13,12,11,10,9,8,8 for a 3ft6" net. when i increase meshes i always do it at the end of my net and stick to this...when you come to the last loop this is were you want two meshes' add your 1'st do a knot then your 2'nd do a knot...and just keep doing this till you get to your required number. then when it comes to decreasing meshes pick the last 2 meshes up with a single loop and tie a knot.just 1 knot will do for this, hope this make sense. atb saluki.
