can anyone help....i need to check the rubber rings as i have a leak, i am 99% sure it is from the adapter end as i can hear a tiny letting of air at 190bar and as the cylinder pressure reduces it hisses out. i have bled the air out of the cylinder using a 5p piece in the cap and shot 20 or so shots out after that so the pressure should be low enough to remove things.

can i just take a spanner to the brass nut at the end of the adapter to remove it or is there something else i need to do first?

obviously dont want to muck this up...just want to check the rubber ring seals before i decide whether it needs to go back to the factory.

have had a look on youtube but nothing on there that goes through the adapter removal.

hi toka

have you tried to tighten it! first?

you may need a hair dryer to heat up the loctite if any, this will move easier then.

i have done this twice now on my AAS410's you will need some circlip pliers to put in the two holes either side of the adapter and turn gently, anti clockwise. as not to slip, before you do this take of scope, stock, action, basically a strip. but must say make sure there is defo no air left in the cylinder

good luck buddy, its not that hard of a job to do!! be carfull & just be patient

regards
