gingerb0y 0 Posted February 3, 2010 Report Share Posted February 3, 2010 Hi, Iam new to running dogs just wondered if anyone has used a similar type of dog as I have got for ferreting/Rabbiting etc. By my in experience to runnings dogs I think she maybe to small or short legged she is quiet fast but have nothing to compare her with. She is 8 months old her Sire is a Beddy/whippet & mum a long legged terrier she is 15inchs TTS & weighs approx 6kg she is a slender dog. She retreives very well but I have not got her on to rabbits yet, I took her ferreting 2 weeks ago just to watch & plan to take her this weekend with a long net. Any comments would be appreciated. poacher3161 1,766 Posted February 3, 2010 Report Share Posted February 3, 2010 She should be spot on for bushing and mooching about just dont exspect miracules in the running department.I chap i spoke to last year had this cross [bANNED TEXT] his fell terrier got to his beddy/whippet and the one he kept back was also handy at bolting the odd fox.atb dell Quote Link to post
