big problem

Recommended Posts

ive got a lab pup thats living outside, and two pet spaniels that live inside.

i want the lab to be able to come inside every now and then, but the problem is our cocker (the most anti-social dog ever, we took it off a mate that couldnt keep him anymore, he hardly ever had a posotive encounter with other dogs (aged 8 at the time)

hes met the pup out side, somewere he's nevr been so teritory wasnt an issue. ( he still didnt like him)

when the pup comes indoors, maby twice a week for no more than 5 mins, the cocker sits and growls, barks, and makes that noise when dogs fight, the kinda bark/growl noise at him and runs away, he has had the od snap at him, for a power house of a cocker against a 3 month lab i dont think this could end well!

i think its fear rather than aggresion.

how do i stop him doing this?

wait till the pup is older mate you got your hands full at the mo the older dog got the uper hand wait till the pup is at the age of 2 or so he or she will get him back big time you should never have gdogs in and out side ever they get very prosesive.

do what the other person said fetch her or him in more often like everday for an j=hour or more how came you can have this one in the house.

i got 4 year old cocker he was alone till 18 months ago and he was top dog ow my bitch is getting her own back big time

Have you tried half a cup of ice cold water in the cockers face and a no when he starts ? It certainly gets the dogs attention without any contact.

make them worse that no need to do it all i was saying that the dog out side will get its own back big time
