Rifleman88 28
How long does it have to be after you've been granted your fac before you can get on deer stalking course? My fac is due anytime now and the biggest cal I've got is .223. Will I need a minimum of .243 before getting on a course or will ibe able to do the course and then apply for a bigger calibre? Cheers rm Quote Link to post
bob.243 9,640
You don't need a FAC to go on a DSC1 course, also the course provider will have a rifle you can use. You only need a FAC to own a rifle, not to use one when supervised. Cheers Bob. Quote Link to post
RicW 67
As above. While you are going for your DSC you will be using a gun supplied by your tutor. If and when you get your DSC you will be able to apply for a variation on your own FAC for a deer calibre. In England and Wales that means a .243. ATB, Ric Quote Link to post
