Guest Dunna
Sadly a few places that i hunted over the last few years are no longer available due to the removal of cover and houses being built etc. The plan for the next week or two is to try find new spots. I was just curious to see wat each guy out there looks for in finding new places to hunt. Do you look for plenty of cover, open fields, do you go out to the back of beyonds with as few houses around as possible? I would like to hear some opinions and thoughts of what each individual would class as there ideal hunting ground Quote Link to post
Guest mucker
i dont work the terriers out of season but like to have the work lined up for the dogs before the season starts rather than waste good weather looking. Edited September 30, 2006 by mucker Quote Link to post
Guest whitser
the best places will have some sort of cover and forestry on it,even small woods about the place will give a nice place for quarry to make a home. but the more of the beaten track the better,no unwanted spectors. i live in dublin and travel depending on the day up to two hours down the motor way.
