I think my terrier has mange, out yesterday working through the bushes, i thought it was the nettles, alot off tinny spots on her under side she has not stoped scraching, I think it/s down to the vets. unless anyone got any ideas what this could be, thanks Stan.

its probably not but even if it is mange its usually pretty easy to cure now anyway mate... an injection takes away the redness and a follow up shot two weeks later clears it all up... all you do is change the bedding and keep the dog clean.. i think 2 jabs is about £6... dont bother with that other crap the vet tries to flog you the jabs are usually enough. plus, if i remember correctly, the jab is also a wormer!

Are they small yellow puss looking spots on the tummy and inner thighs?

If so, you dont need to do a thing just leave them. My terriers get them every year when bushing. Its just through coming into contact with plants/nettles etc. If they are itching her really badly just give an antihistamine (piriton etc), you can buy from the chemist for humans to stop the itching. If the itching is just now and then, again i would just leave it.

MOLL.
