RossM 8,149
after recovering from the split pad my older bitch has now cut all the webbing in between the pads on her rear left pads, never noticed till i got her home from a walk yesterday at the playing fields puddles of blood all oer the living room. after clensing it with warm salty water and inspecting the wound i decided not to chance it and took her to vets he says she was lucky and it looks like a broken bit glass has done the damage. he couldnt do nowt yesterday as she had had a chewstick in the afternoon so he put a lovely purple dressing on it and shes away back this morning to get knocked out and stitched. hopefully all will go well, anyone any ideas on the recovery time of an injury like this? P.S insurance is now a must for me, £600-£700 in the last 9mths when the excess is roughly £75-£90? it is just lazyness on my part as i have the quotes saved to my favourites just not purchased it.
