rabbits on night vision

alright lads has anyone got any experience catching rabbits with lurchers using this method thinking of giving it a try. thanks

i use night vision for foxing good with lamp that has ir filter helps you see there eyes/works for rabbirs as well

I suppose it would be ok if you can get a set to strap on the dog's head.. :11: .. not a bad idea though if you can find your chosen quarry with the night vision getting as close as you can to it before flicking the lamp on for the dog.. .

but cant the dogs see the rabbits without the aid of the lamp

No amount of night vision will allow you to get close to a rabbit at night unless it has mixie :11: .The normal lamp,if used properly ,will allow you to get a lot closer as it block out your outline .Without the lamp you are in their world and they are a lot more equipped than we are .

so how do you manage that inyour wheel chair.. ive never seen anyone in the middle of a plough field in a wheelchair lamp in 1 hand dog in another and binos stuck to there head in the dark.. the reason i ask is that when i contacted you.. you could not get to the phone cus your in a w,chair and couldent talk cus you had hole in your throat...... amazing
