mossberg plinkster (17 hmr)

hi all,

my brother is looking into buying a 17hmr and has been reccomended the mossberg. at £260 screw cut seems a bargain( synthetic/stainless).

i have been told the action etc is made by cz.

i realise you often get what you pay for and wondered if anybody has or has tried one?

any info welcome.

I had a brief chat by PM with another member who has one and he said he had had no problems. Certanly the price is tempting but not a whole lot cheeper than some of the used CZs that come up. I want to know if the trigger is any good and can it be fettled? Check it feeds reliably with both 17 and 20 grain ammo then you pay your money and take your choice.

yes that brief chat was with me the mossberge i have is a verry accurate and light gun i have no complaints verry happy with it i use 17gr vmax and have not yet used 20gr no need really trigger seems fine to all in all verry good gun for the price good luck chris
